Location
Founded in 1954 and ideally located in the residential area of Florissant, Lycée Rodolphe Töpffer is an International French day and boarding school for girls and boys aged 9 – 18 years old.
Overview
Admitting up to 25 nationalities every year, its 220 students enjoy a friendly and intercultural environment where experienced teachers provide personalised supervision as well as great attention to student’s intellectual, emotional and social needs, adhering to the lycée’s philosophy of ensuring students enjoy school. Lycée Töpffer comes with modern equipment especially for sciences, a library, a theater, sports grounds and a swimming pool.
Academics
The Lycée Töpffer follows the official Genevan school programmes up to the end of obligatory schooling. Then it offers the official French school programmes until the baccalaureate (high school diploma).
Extra-curricular Activities
Art courses are offered as an option: fine arts, art History, drama. International culture plays a significant role in Geneva, and Lycée Töpffer takes full advantage of all the offered possibilities: meetings, trips, exhibitions, plays, concerts, and cinema. Linguistic proficiency is one of the priorities of Lycée Töpffer. English courses for non-English speakers and French courses for non-French speakers are also offered. Because studies and physical balance are closely linked, a large place is given to daily sporting activities (soccer, basketball, swimming, skiing, and athletics). Boarding is on a weekly or full boarding basis. Tailored study hours overseen by motivating teachers are also offered.

Summer Camp: In July, the school’s International summer camp offers a great opportunity to learn English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Campers enjoy language classes in the mornings and discover Geneva through sports and cultural activities in the afternoons.
