Located in Territet-Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva, Institut Monte Rosa is housed in a grand nineteenth-century mansion with panoramic views overlooking the lake and its surroundings.

Established in 1874 and renamed ‘Institut Monte Rosa’ in the 1960s, this international school has built an outstanding reputation through endless effort to educate students in a family-friendly environment that inspires and encourages learning. Academics

nstitut Monte Rosa offers a variety of academic programs to boys and girls between the age of 9 and 19. The programs include Business Studies Program, Intensive English, American Junior and High School, Cambridge Exams, SAT, DELF, IELTS, TOEFL and AP, Post Graduate Course, winter, and summer holiday courses. The school also offers modern languages such as Spanish, Italian, French and German, which lead to several Linguistic certificates. The winter courses enable students to learn or perfect a language or linguistic skills. Students preparing for entrance into a university or high school are thoroughly prepared for their exams. The Department of Business Studies offers students a comprehensive Trans-Academic program in English. Students learn sports and physical education together to create an essential basis for their character and body development. The school sports teachers have created sports training as a method of self-control to others. In summer and winter, the school runs a Swiss Holiday programs where the students are taught how to live with girls and boys.

Extra-curricular Activities

Students can indulge in a wide range of activities in Institut Monte Rosa. The school has access to about fifteen various ski resorts for exciting skiing activities such as Verbier, Les Portes du Soleil, Gstaad, and Crans-Montana. Other activities include ice skating, snowboarding, playing golf, tobogganing, horseback riding, and swimming. There are regular cultural excursions to different cities on a weekly basis such as Lausanne, Geneva, Lucerne Bern or Zurich.
