Champittet Summer Leadership Camp

Location

Organised in a unique partnership between the SILC Academy and the prestigious boarding school Collège Champittet, the camp offers educational excellence with a personalised approach at a stunning, green campus in Lausanne on the banks of Lake Geneva.

Students enjoy the outstanding facilities, green oasis and lake views that Collège Champittet has to offer, coupled with the exciting activities, valuable and tailored leadership guidance and personal feedback from the talented and experienced team of senior SILC trainers.

Each year students from all over the world come together at the Champittet Summer Leadership Course to build friendships, have the time of their life, discover themselves and unlock their potential through outdoor challenges and personalised guidance from expert trainers and industry leaders. From rock climbing to goal setting, canyoning to communication and from glacier expeditions to planning and optimising, each day brings along a new adventure and leadership skill, so that students are up for an exciting and transformative summer experience!

Summer Programs

A unique camp experience & rich programme The summer camp enhances students’ learning and personal development in a fun and inspiring way. It combines fantastic games, incredible outdoor activities and excursions with entertaining team challenges and leadership workshops in a beautiful and safe Swiss environment.

Participants are guided by a team of senior trainers, industry experts and professional mountain guides which makes it an exciting and truly enriching experience for students from all over the world. Students enjoy a programme of unparalleled fun and diversity with thrilling activities in the pristine Swiss nature and lakes, mountain expeditions, team games and challenges, social events, excursions to Swiss highlights and meaningful, dynamic leadership sessions which help them make the best of their summer and all the years to come.

Activities

The camp offers a varied and balanced programme with activities to be enjoyed by everyone. Each day is unique on its own where students experience an array of activities.

To name a few: Glacier expedition & overnight stay at mountain hut, Watersports day, Canyoning, Rock climbing, Nature & mountain hikes, First aid in the mountains, Bridge swing & Zip line, and Laser tag. Through the variety of activities and team challenges at camp, they help students develop essential leadership and 21st century skills. Students can learn Goal setting, Time management, Communication & Presentation skills and other important skills.

All activities and workshops are offered in English and a basic English understanding is sufficient to enjoy the camp to the fullest.

Dates

There are 3 two-week sessions from 1 July to 11 August 2024 that can be extended to any duration. Alternative arrival and departure dates can be arranged upon consultation.
