School Info Founded in 1966 by Mathilde and Jean Wegmüller, Chantemerle private boarding school welcomes boys and girls from all over the world for educational summer camps.
Students from ages 6 to 17 join Chantemerle to learn and develop their sense of responsibility while studying, making lifelong friendships, and having fun.
Over the years, Chantemerle has established an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and its authentic, personalized family atmosphere.
Students reside in charming and comfortable chalet-style rooms. Chantemerle ensures permanent supervision by a professional and dedicated educational team. Screen use is controlled and intelligently integrated into camp life. Varied and balanced "home-cooked" meals are prepared with local ingredients. Special diets on request.
Small-sized class groups with individualized attention enable maximum learning outcomes for each student. A positive and engaging learning approach, with a rich programme of sports, excursions, and fun activities in the afternoons, enables campers to have a memorable summer.
Summer Programmes ACADEMIC PROGRAMS (24 h/week, morning):
2 to 5-week stays for boys & girls ages 6-11 (junior) and 12-17 (teens). Intensive language courses: French, English, German (A1 – B1), Literature & Society: Advanced French or English (B2 and natives, ages 12-16), School revisions: Maths, Physics & Chemistry (2 or 3-week program and Innovation, Leadership & Startup creation (2-week program).
PERFORMANCE SPORT CAMPS (1 session = 1 week full or half day):
Intensive sport camps combined with 1 or 2 weeks of language/science courses, excursions, and fun activities. From age 8. Dates available throughout the camp.

Tennis Riviera (Junior and Competition programs), Montreux Golf academy and Riding camp at the equestrian school of La Tour.
Activities MULTI-ACTIVITY PROGRAMME:After the class, on evenings and weekends, a wide range of sports, artistic activities, outdoor adventures, and cultural excursions are proposed to the students:
Lake & Mountain adventures, camping experience, forest adventures,Trips to Bern, Geneva, Luzern, Basel, Salt mines, Cailler Chocolate Factory, the Vallorbes Caves, Olympic Museum, 2-day trip to Europa-Park (Germany).
Aquapark and Aquasplash, Kayak and stand-up paddle, Indoor climbing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, archery.
Picnics, fun and social evenings, Cooking and baking, Painting & creativity, dance, theatre & music, Talent shows.
