Language Summer Courses in Montreux – Institut Monte Rosa
Institut Monte Rosa’s 6,000sqm campus in Montreux welcomes girls and boys to their extraordinary summer camp combining French or English language courses with sports and exciting cultural trips.
Location
Set in Montreux, by the calm waters of Lake Geneva, the Summer Courses at Institut Monte Rosa offer girls and boys between 6 – 18 years old the opportunity to improve their language, sports and social skills amidst a safe environment filled with sunshine and vibrant cultural events.
For maximum comfort and for kids travelling on their own transfers to and from Geneva Airport can be arranged.
School Info
Institut Monte Rosa was established in 1874 as a boarding school and has since then become one of the best boarding schools in Switzerland. It offers a wide variety of academic programs in intensive language studies and general subject areas taught by passionate teachers in a family-like atmosphere.
Summer Programs
In summer the prestigious boarding school will become a fun-packed summer camp where students will be able to achieve language certificates in French and English. Please note that students must stay a minimum of 2 weeks. Students can enroll in the summer camp as day campers or boarding campers. When choosing the latter, they are accommodated in well-appointed double rooms in the school’s own dorms. Single rooms are also available upon requests.
Activities
Enjoy a wide range of daily leisure activities and sports such as golf, football, tennis, rafting, indoor skydiving, horseback riding, wakeboarding, big banana, mountain biking, dancing and ice skating. Cultural trips – including a visit to a Swiss chocolate factory – and full day excursions to Geneva, Bern, Lausanne and Zermatt also provide unforgettable memories.
