Lemania Summer Camp

Location

Nestled in the safe and quiet heart of Lausanne, Lemania Summer Camp is perfectly situated to offer the ideal summer experience. Combining language teaching with a multitude of activities and comfortable boarding accommodation, the summer camp offers a balanced and enriching environment. The proximity of the lake and mountains also contributes to this, offering plenty of opportunities for exciting outdoor activities.

School Info

Founded in 1908, Lemania School has over a century of experience and expertise in welcoming students. The school offers a Swiss educational experience to summer camp participants from all over the world, with an emphasis on teaching English and French. The summer camp is offered to students aged 12 to 18 for a duration of 1 to 7 weeks.

Summer Programs

Every morning, students have the opportunity to take an IELTS test or participate in an intensive language programme in English or French for 15 or 20 hours a week. New this year is the two-week IB Discovery programme. Afternoons and evenings are filled with exciting sports and activities.

Activities

Each week there are 10 to 14 fun activities to choose from. During the activities, students have the flexibility to talk in their preferred language and can choose from a wide variety of options: Mountain activities in the Swiss Alps: hiking, walking, cycling, photography, nature discovery and other activities. Activities on Lake Geneva: paddleboarding, swimming, sailing, windsurfing. Cultural discovery: Aquatis, UN (United Nations), Red Cross Museum, Chaplin Museum, Chillon Castle, Olympic Museum, Nestlé Museum. Sports adventures: bubble soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, golf, dance. Leisure: shopping, escape room challenges, go-karting, archery, visits to Geneva, Bern, Evian, Zurich, paintball, laser game, aquapark and much more.

Dates

Dates are from 23 July to 10 August. The recommended length of stay is 2 weeks.
