With up to six hours of adrenaline-pumping downhill thrills each day, Les Elfes offers the best winter camp for serious young skiers in Switzerland. Off the slopes, there’s enough entertainment, education, and experiences to leave your little one with memories to last a lifetime.
Location
The Les Elfes Winter Camp takes place in Verbier, a pristine winter wonderland overlooking the majestic Mount Grand Combin. The stunning south-facing plateau receives both an abundance of powder and sunshine each season, making it among the most sought-after spots to ski in the Swiss Alps. Happy campers get to lay their weary heads at a Swiss alpine chalet, a charming stone and wood construction where luxury and tradition meet. Some 450km of ski runs operate from December to April each year, accessed by a network of over a hundred lifts spread between its four distinct valleys.
School Info
Ever since its foundation in 1987, Les Elfes has been running unforgettable seasonal camps for boys and girls aged 6 to 17. Each camp is carefully curated to be safe, educational, challenging, and fun, and always has ample opportunity to mingle with an international crowd. Of the 5,000+ happy campers that visit every year, 90% are repeat customers—a testament to the programme’s resounding success. Holistic personal development, cross-cultural experiences, and in-depth learning are among the foundation’s core principles.
Winter Programs
A typical day at the Les Elfes Winter Camp involves an early wake-up, breakfast, skiing, lunch, more skiing, an excursion or optional activity, dinner, and some après-ski entertainment. Optional language courses and excursions are available for parents who want their child to develop outside the piste. Après ski entertainment and activities continue until 9 or 10 pm, depending on the age of the group.
New optional activities: Surfing in the Swiss Alps in the pool with artificial waver in Sion (CHF 200.-) and Paragliding (CHF 180.-).
Activities
Although skiing and snowboarding is undoubtedly the main attraction, Les Elfes offers an array of other fun-filled ventures: quizzes, discos, games competitions, campfire nights, movie nights, mountain BBQs, team challenges, ice skating, restaurant meals, and a farewell prize-giving event, to name a few.
