LCIP therapies help mitigate or manage a range of psychiatric conditions: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, bipolar, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), schizophrenia, depression, fibromyalgia, tinnitus, and offers cognitive assessment of memory disorder.
LCIP also practices interventional psychiatry, a specialist branch that blends neurostimulation and neuromodulation to restore malfunctioning circuits in the brain. The complex practice draws upon a range of high-tech therapies: transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
The team is lead by Dr. Jean-Frédéric Mall, an accredited physician and former senior physician at the Lausanne University Hospital, Switzerland, in the Department of Old Age Psychiatry. He has contributed in the development and implementation of the electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) unit at the Lausanne University Hospital, in the founding of the Swiss Society of Interventional Psychiatry (being a current member of the executive committee) and in the development of the Certificate of Proficiency in Interventional Psychiatry, in which he is a lecturer and supervisor, particularly in the field of electroconvulsive therapy.
His collaborator, Dr. Xavier De Moor, is also an accomplished physician and a former chief resident at the Lausanne University Hospital. Dr. De Moor conducts targeted interventions, psychiatric assessments, and pharmacological adjustments for adults and the eldery based on the cognitive and a behavioral model.
The clinic provides consultations and check-ups for patients of all ages, and possesses a strong expertise in affective disorders, psychotic disorders and medical issues linked to ageing.
